Global SST anomalies are still elevated, but they have not changed appreciably over the past few weeks. They are approximately 0.05 deg C lower than the peak earlier this year.

i confused by the massive snowfall (a record for this time of year) in whistler (canada)... its great for the olympics, but its not in line with el nino conditions is it? (same with te cold US october? )
